AGE CLASS ALPINE SKI RACING

Loveland Ski Club’s Age Class Ski Racing program is a youth alpine ski racing program. The Age Class program has a heavy focus on ski racing and is designed as the first step for the athlete dedicated to taking ski racing to the highest level.

ALL AGE GROUPS ON SNOW: 11/4-4/14

Ages 6-13 (U10, U12, and U14)

The Age Class program provides dedicated athletes with the tools for personal success at Age Class races within the Rocky Mountain Division. At this level, athletes compete in Slalom, Giant Slalom, and Super G. Using all the terrain Loveland has to offer, LSC's dedicated training venues, and unparalleled access to early season race venue training, tools are provided to help each athlete reach their personal best as the level of competition increases.

Athletes should be comfortable skiing all terrain at Loveland Ski Area. Athletes should have age and discipline-appropriate race equipment. Please refer to their coach for equipment suggestions. Proper equipment care becomes important at this level, from strapping and protecting skis, to ensuring that skis are in proper condition and tuned for training and racing.

LSC's Age Class program includes training on Friday afternoons, Saturday's, Sunday's, and holidays on snow. Age Class athletes have the option to drop in on weekday training for additional daily rate fees.
